Patrick O’Brien graduated with a degree in dentistry from UCC in 1988. He moved to Kent in the UK where he worked for three years before returning to Ireland 1n 1992.

 

Dr. O’Brien started the Athy practice in 1997 . It was initially located in the medical centre at 82 Leinster Street with Dr Moloney Quinn. He bought and renovated the current building at 64 Leinster St in 2001 and the practice has been located there since.

 

Patrick is commited to providing a reliable and friendly service, maintaining value for money, while at the same time giving a high standard of care. He is a member of the Irish dental association and regularly attends on going educational courses, both at home and abroad.

 

He has an interest in taking part in the local Athy community and writes a column in the monthly “Whats on Athy” magazine.

 

Athy Dental Practice provides a dentistry servive to the Kildare. Carlow and Laois areas.

 

The dentists located in Leinster Street, Athy accepts private patients, Social welfare and Medical Card patients.
